This place is really lovely and the staff are so nice. BUT… this place needs more bar staff. Every time I went up, there was a queue.
Dear management: I want to walk up to the bar and order a beer, not queue up behind everyone else ordering food and drinks to the table. I understand you have an order to table app, but the constant queue should show you need to more bar staff. Outside these contentions, this is a really nice place to eat & drink; so inviting and they deserve all the success if they can improve their ordering system. Maybe screens for food which will free up the bar?? Honestly everyone should try here. Thanks

I come here whenever I’m in Woolwich and I’ve seen throughout the year this pub thriving but today was really sad seeing the state of it and the team, it’s the 3rd day of sun and you can already see how this is affecting the pub.
My friend who comes here every time for a daily aspall and today he started helping the staff clearing tables cause in a pub this big they had just 3 members of staff ( which one of them wasn’t serving the bar) in this sunny day. Honestly not a good look on the new management. I hope they will fix this sooner rather than later seeing how summer tends to be in Woolwich

We were told both the atmosphere and the food were delicious. We were told right. Friendly staff, delicious food, it’s just a beautiful restaurant. I’m only in town for five days and have wondered over to have both spirits and lunch three times already. A+++

I really like this place! Great food and drinks, and a friendly atmosphere. A special thank you to Claudia, who is the loveliest waitress in the world — super sweet, kind, and incredibly proactive, which made our experience even better. She is so well-connected that, at first, I thought she was the manager. Can’t recommend enough!

Nice pub, very spacious. We were in a rush, but the waiter was helpful, swift and suggested pizza if we wanted a quick turn around. Would go again - the pizza is yum.

Everything was amazing. Beef Sunday roast was great, special shout out to that Yorkshire pudding. Only thing that let it down was that we waited ages for someone to come to the table for us to pay, after the bill was already given to us. We ended up going to the till. But would definitely return for the interior, polite staff and food :)

Wow! What a lovely and beautiful place to enjoy a meal. The environment here is truly stunning. I am right in front of Dial Arch, and I absolutely love this place.
I have been living near Abbey Wood for the past month, and I am currently looking for a job. I have three years of experience as a kitchen assistant in Nepal, along with two years of housekeeping experience at Kuti Resort and Spa in Nepal.
I would be delighted if I could secure a job at this restaurant. My university, York St John University London, has classes only on Fridays, so I am free and available to work every other day except Friday. I really need a job to sustain myself in the UK. Hoping for the best.

Had a meal on Friday night it was amazing, we were served by Minnie who was a absolute delight, full of energy and so bubbly, she was always checking on us absolutely amazing service from her and she’s a credit to your team, such a great pub we go a lot and the atomspere is amazing and the staff are too notch, pub is always clean and everyone is always having so much fun there be back in a couple of weeks

Really gone down hill. Mice running all over the place midday yesterday. Staff aware and blase about it - was told ‘yeah we know the construction work has drove them this way’……

We had a great visit to Dial Arch. Food was excellent. Service was great and allowed us to eat and enjoy meal and stay with out being rushed. We regularly head out on Friday with out teenage children and felt welcomed here which is not the same for all pubs the do food on a Friday We will be back and look forward to when weather improves and we can eat outside

We got married in the nearby town hall and booked the reception here to host our guests. 3 course meal and drinks reception. Absolutely fantastic service even though it was a very busy Saturday night. Waiting staff were amazing and everyone was delighted with food. Great space for it too. 👍 10/10

Best pub in Woolwich! The Dial Arch has a great selection of beer; food always great. There is always a great atmosphere when we visit. The quizz night is always fun. Can’t wait for summer to enjoy a lazy after work pint outside.

A little oasis in Woolwich, this place is one of the only places in Woolwich that is decent to go for a drink or two with friends and family. The decor is great and the service is professional and polite. The people seem friendly. The price of the drinks appears reasonable considering it's London. If you're about in Woolwich this is the only place to go

We had a lovely time here .
The waiter who welcomed us wasn’t really happy but the girl who served us was really lovely . Her name is Claudia and she was such a delight. Not just with us but with all the customers who were there. She had a beautiful smile on her face and made sure everyone was satisfied. I can see she is working hard and making sure she does her job properly.

I’m a local, come here whenever we need to get out the house. Food is always great and fresh, staff are friendly and this place never disappoints. Get the Mac & cheese! Can be a little expensive but it’s worth it. P.s. please bring back the schnitzel!!!

A beautiful pub with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to stay. The staff is lovely and attentive, and they also offer gluten-free options. They don’t have gluten-free options for pizzas, but they do for their burgers and fish and chips. Highly recommended!
